Spring 2017
We went to India to serve, but that most important part of our trip is not seen here. Kolkata is a place of total cacophony, and the crashing flood of sensory and emotional input is impossible for an outsider to process, much less capture in a photograph. At times, I sought to distill a frozen moment of order or quiet. Other times I tried to let the flood carry me along.
