In 2007 I had a gallery show that explored the shifting perceptual spaces around our experience of sound, vision, and language. The central visual element of the show was five large text pieces. After having several of these in storage for many years, I decided to let one of them live in my yard; now I watch as the words and meaning slowly disintegrate.
