On-film diptychs & triptychs
There are seconds or minutes or days or weeks or decades contained in the blank film between two images. I have long been drawn to these gaps; they contain an infinity of stories that will never be told.
There is also an appealing challenge to creating multiples that cannot be cropped, and that are made up of images that converse with each other in a compelling way. Sometimes success here comes from intent, sometimes from good fortune.
